One of the reason I started this website was to combat food wastage and encourage women to follow a more natural skincare routine by making their own products, free from parabens and other nasties as I believe that these chemicals are the causes of many skin problems.

Roger the Bulldog

Well, I know this is not beauty related but a story touched my heart about a one year old bulldog called Roger, who currently resides at the Bulldog rescue centre. He on the South london link.

I would take him in tomorrow but I have rescue dog who is not very social with other dogs due to her sad history.

Roger has his problems, a little incontinent because of a spinal problem, but he is such a happy-go-lucky-chap.

Denture Tablets!!!

I read something interesting the other day and I tried it and it works!!!

I have a discloured toenail – yuk!- I know, so I tried a recipe that advocates soaking your feet in a disolved denture tablet and then brusing your nails with a scourer.

Amazingly my nail looks brighter, so give it a try to brighten up those toenails for summer. I’ve already bought five packs.
