How much sleep to we get? Not enough I would imagine therefore we should do something about it, no.

Eight hours is the minimum but the world that we live in that is quite difficult to achieve. When I’d read that Penelope Cruz aims for fourteen hours when she’s not filming, that got me thinking… and look how great she looks for a woman in her forties!!

Sleep is the biggest free beauty boost you can give yourself, you can spend £100 on a facial, but lack of sleep will deplete any effects of that facial. Creams and cosmetics will mask the problem but you need to sleep. I suggest you try and  go to bed at the exact same time every night, go for a walk beforehand if the weather is nice, have a warm glass of milk, drop some lavender oil on your pillow, read and try not to stress about not sleeping. If that doesn’t help, the one thing that knocks me out at night is whisky and hot milk, I don’t even drink  but do this for medicinal purposes, it ‘s also a great remedy for preventing a flu bug developing, just a tiny drop in your milk should do the trick. Out like a light!
